The university holds regular events of transparency among bachelor students and postgraduate students: Call line, regular meetings with rector, the box of complaints and suggestions. The University publishes 5 scientific and medical journals (“Valeology”, “Dietetics”, “Otorino-Laryngology – Surgery of head and neck”, “Astana medicine journal”, “Sports Medicine”). Two professors from JSC “AMU” are the members of WHO Regional Training center.

The aim is to promote new approaches in journalistic studies and conduct research regarding Peace Journalism, European Journalism, Conflict analysis and resolution, International Journalism, News Organisations etc. In addition to support the teaching needs at the undergraduate and postgraduate level of the Department of Journalism and Mass Media It is Unique one in Greece and one of the few across Europe.

Even as we are a small institution we take care of the environment by not wasting drinking water or consuming little paper. As an organization in a very small country our students come from abroad, which means that we have many cultures and citizens from different countries which allows us to promote intercultural dialogue and understanding. The UFL is also involved supraregionally in networks, for example in the BioLago network, which promotes innovations for health.
