Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) is a private university located in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. It was founded by a lawyer and philanthropist, Afe Babalola, in 2009. Afe Babalola University offers academic programmes in six Colleges: Sciences, Law, Engineering, Social and Management Sciences, Medicine and Health Sciences, and Postgraduate Studies. It is located on 130 hectares of land at an altitude of over 1500 feet above sea level. The university has one main campus which is located in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. The campus is situated in the hilly part of the town.

Afe Babalola University is reputed for its large scale investment in sustainable development programs, especially with focus on agriculture, healthcare and access to justice. The University is home to the ABUAD Farm an expansive farm project that is playing an important role in agricultural development, food security and agri-technology in Nigeria. The University also boasts of the ABUAD Multi System Hospital, one of the best hospitals in the Sub-Sahara Africa which is changing the face of health care delivery in this continent with up-to-date medical and diagnostic equipment.

In addition, stringent rules are laid down to further strengthen unity and cultural tolerance with punishments meted out to anyone who contravenes the law.
