Please provide a brief description of your academic structure: 
UniLaSalle-RJ’s headquarter is Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, in its own building, specifically built for this purpose. It was built with the most modern technology available for the operation of higher education institutions. In addition to this specific property, LaSalle Group also maintains three other buildings in Niterói, making a total of 90 classrooms, a theater, several auditoriums, a gymnasium for indoor sports, laboratories and libraries that can be used for academic and cultural activities. UniLaSalle-RJ is part of a network with 300 years of history and presence in 80 countries. Since 2002, the year of its inauguration, the University has built modern classrooms, laboratories, auditoriums, conference rooms, community centers, an art gallery and a library. At this moment, the physical space of UniLaSalle-RJ comprises a hall, 60 classrooms, data processing center, library with 2,500m2, a room for Nuclei Research and Extension, five computer labs, teachers' room, two auditoriums, two amphitheaters, sound room and a parking garage for 200 vehicles. All facilities are adequately furnished and equipped, have excellent health conditions, acoustics, ventilation, maintenance, cleaning and accessibility. All buildings and facilities have are completely accessible for people with special needs. In 2018, Conecta Space was opened as a result of the partnership with Google for Education, offering three different spaces: the World Connection Room (dynamic videoconference), the Makerspace Room (dynamic of the creative process) and the Multiple Connections Room (photo and video studio, Design Thinking, Coworking). There are many benefits available to the 3,000 students enrolled throughout eleven undergraduate courses, but also to those interested in Distance Learning options. UniLaSalle-RJ is also a reference in postgraduation education, offering extension and graduate courses.
Please describe briefly any activities your institution is already carrying out, which are relevant to UNAI and its principles: 
UniLaSalle-RJ’s mission is to be an open space of educational excellence, committedto the formation of avant-garde professionals, with a spirit of faith, fraternity, service, ethical, human values, environmental and social awareness. The institution respects the diversity of beliefs, political convictions and pedagogical orientations. To implement its mission UniLaSalle-RJ invests and develops many social programs that promotes education and capacity building opportunities to its neighboring communities. One of the most important initiative is LaSalle School destined to vulnerable children offering free kindergarten and nursery. Other initiatives are the Accounting Practice Center and Nucleus of Legal Practices that offer service to disadvantaged community in these areas. Also at UniLaSalle-RJ the graduation courses develop projects that investigate and offer social and sustainable solutions, as the projects of Human Rights in International Relations BA, the laboratories of Architecture and Engineering, and TI Nucleus. Our university has also a Communitary Service Sector that train volunteers, collect donations and implement social projects. To offer higher education opportunity for every interested individual the institution has a 30% waiver of income in favor of discounts and gratuities (scholarships) offered in courses based on social criteria. UniLaSalle-RJ cares about global problems and is prepared to educate Global Citizens, people that are aware of and willing to solve questions in order to improve relations among people from different parts of the world. In order to do so, Unilasalle-RJ has several international programs that stimulate students understand the world and its problems such as Summer Program and Global Leadership Program that allows students to be in touch with different cultures and Brazil’s role in the world.
