2 November 2018 - The United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) - ASPIRE Chapter of the Thangal Kunju Musaliar College of Engineering (India), a member institution of the UNAI, in association with the Kerala Forum on United Nations Academic Impact (KFUNAI), is organizing the International Consortium on Global Climate (ICGC) with the theme Climate Action and Life on Land, based on the Goals 13 and 15 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The event will take place in Kerala, India, between 17 - 18 November 2018, coinciding with the celebration eight anniversary of UNAI. It aims to be an exceptional eye-opener showcasing multiple approaches regarding global climatic variations and sustainable development, by serving as a platform for all critical leaders around the globe to debate, discuss and also dialogue on the world’s current worst and most significant threat: Climate Change.

The organizers hold steadfast belief that the creative energies and efforts of the youth is the quintessential catalyst to mobilize stronger and ambiguous climate action. The event is of paramount relevance today, especially in the aftermath of the disastrous floods that the Indian state of Kerala recently witnessed.
