Share your work and insight on World Water Day (22 March)!

Water availability is becoming less predictable in many places, and increased incidences of flooding threaten to destroy water points and sanitation facilities and contaminate water sources. In some regions, droughts are exacerbating water scarcity and negatively impacting people’s health and productivity. Ensuring that everyone has access to sustainable water and sanitation services is critical for the years ahead. The Decade for Action: Water for Sustainable Development, to be launched on 2018 World Water Day, will focus on the sustainable development and integrated management of water resources for the achievement of social, economic and environmental objectives. We would like to hear from you on the subject! 1. What kinds of activities are you planning for/have done on World Water Day, 22 March? More information on World Water Day is available here: 2. The theme of this year’s World Water Day is ‘The Answer is in Nature’. Do you have examples that illustrate the resources available in nature to face droughts, climate change, integration of "green" and "grey" infrastructure etc.? 3. What specific water-related issues are unfolding in your region/country? 4. What are your thoughts on the new "Making Every Drop Count", High-Level Panel on Water Outcome Document? The Report is available here: 5. Do you have recommendations for best practices to ensure water security in every community? 6.
