Please describe briefly any activities your institution is already carrying out, which are relevant to UNAI and its principles:
KRSU conducted online UN courses on sustainable development called “Global development and Global citizenship” based on lectures of professor Jeffrey Sachs from Columbia University in 2018 from September 15 to December 10.These lectures were held as part of the global network UNAI (United Nations Academic Impact). The courses were attended by students, teachers, specialists ftom NISI (честно не знаю как расшифровывается). Following the results of the courses, students developed and defended their projects. The uniqueness of the courses on sustainable development was that in addition to theoretical knowledge about global processes and trends, they took the skills in teamwork and drawing up specific projects on the topic of lectures with practical application in the Kyrgyz Republic. Project participants received international UNAI certificates. The topics of protected projects were: ● "Startup ecosystem of Bishkek: how to attract youth", ● Development of innovations in the Kyrgyz Republic: international experience (with a focus on education) ", ● "Development of the green economy in the Kyrgyz Republic: prospects and challenges for attracting investment (case study of municipal solid waste), ● "Ecotourism in Bishkek and Chui area: marketing and promotion on the world arena. " The mentors of the projects were the leading experts of our country.
