Josai International University is comprised of eight faculties (Faculty of Management and Information Studies, Faculty of International Humanities, Faculty of Social Work Studies, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Media Studies, Faculty of Tourism, Faculty of Social and Environmental Studies, Faculty of Nursing) and six graduate schools (Graduate School of Humanities, Graduate School of Management and Information Sciences, Graduate School of Social Work Studies, Graduate School of Business Design, Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Graduate School of International Administration). The University has three campuses with Togane Campus and Awa Campus located in Chiba Prefecture and Tokyo’s Kioicho Campus. It has entered into partnership with 195 overseas partner schools located in 30 countries and regions around the world. Based on the founding spirit of “character building through learning,” Josai International University prides itself and has a “commitment to forming the characters of young people with dreams and noble visions of working for the benefit of both local and international communities,” and it aims to foster highly specialized professionals who can play active roles in global society and contribute to the development of the region, while engaging in educational and research activities.
Please describe briefly any activities your institution is already carrying out, which are relevant to UNAI and its principles: 
Josai International University prides itself and has a “commitment to forming the characters of young people with dreams and noble visions of working for the benefit of both local and international communities”, and it implements international education for cultivation of the abilities to understand diversity, coexistence and collaboration. In particular, students are encouraged to develop practical communication skills in English and second languages. In addition, for enhancement of these abilities, a variety of training and study abroad programs are provided in collaboration with our overseas partner schools to all our students. Josai International University has established the JOSAI I-HOUSE Togane Global Village and JOSAI I-HOUSE Awa Global Village, where students from all over the world live together. By interacting with people who possess diverse ideas and values, international human resources with a more global perspective is being fostered.
