Ibrahim Leadership Fellowships 2019

The Ibrahim Leadership Fellowships are now accepting applications for 2019. The fellowships provide African nationals with the opportunity to build on managerial and leadership skills while working on pressing challenges in Africa today. Young Fellows get to work closely with executive leaders to brainstorm and implement real life policies for Member States. Selected Fellows will have the chance to work at the executive offices of either the African Development Bank in Abidjan, the UN Economic Commission for Africa in Addis Ababa, or the International Trade Centre in Geneva. Each organisation will host a Fellow for one year, and selected Fellows will receive an annual stipend of $100,000.

Applications open on 13 August 2018 and will remain open until 15 October 2018. The applications are open to professionals up to the age of 40 or 45 for women with children, who are nationals of an African country with a minimum of 7 years of work experience and a Master's Degree. More information regarding the program and its eligibility requirements can be found here: mo.ibrahim.foundation/fellowships
