Fordham University will co-host event on the Global Refugee Crisis

11 September 2018 - Fordham University (United States), a member institution of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI), will co-host through its Graduate Program in International Political Economy and Development and in partnership with the organization Catholic Relief Services, an event entitled Advancing Local Leadership in Today’s Global Refugee Crisis. The event, in the form of a panel discussion, will take place on 25 September 2018 to coincide with the opening of the United Nations General Assembly.

Panelists will include leaders from governments and civil society organizations that are currently partnering with Catholic Relief Services to address today’s global refugee crisis. They will speak from their experience on the ground in an effort to empower local leaders to meet the needs of their refugee communities.
