Energy and climate change to be discussed at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens

9 August 2018 - The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece), and in particular its Energy Policy and Development Centre, is currently organizing the 11th International Conference on “Energy and Climate Change” that will take place in Athens from 10 to 12 October 2018. Each day of the event will be dedicated to different perspective of energy and climate change policies. 

The first part of the Conference will be devoted to the 3rd “Green Energy Investments” Forum, aiming to bring together policy and decision makers to explore opportunities for investment that promote the transition to a low carbon economy. The second part will be devoted to peer – viewed presentations and discussions on relevant to energy and climate change research topics.

Finally, the third part aims to bring together scientists, policy makers and market stakeholders, in order to facilitate them to present their activities, projects and programs, to discuss about funding opportunities and also finally to increase the cross-interaction on innovative ideas and cooperation about common relevant topics.

The organizer of the event has informed that the deadline for abstracts’ submission is 7 September 2018.
