Cybersecurity challenges to be addressed during international conference at the University of Maribor

1 October 2018 - The Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security of the University of Maribor (Slovenia), a member institution of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI), is organizing an international conference on Cybersecurity on 15 - 16 November 2018. The Central European Cybersecurity Conference will bring together the knowledge and opinions of experts from various fields of cybersecurity, demonstrate the effects of an adequate level of cybersecurity on the functioning of organizations, the work of individuals, and the recognition of threats in the cyberspace.

Awareness and knowledge of this topic are essential in today’s world. Cybersecurity is a topic that is anchored in the way of life of every individual and organization. The conference is intended for all interested parties, with emphasis on experts from the industry, public administration and individuals who are dealing with issues in the wider field of information security. The conference will be attended by researchers from the European Union and the wider area. Lectures will be delivered by world-renowned scientists in the field of cybersecurity.
