Please describe briefly any activities your institution is already carrying out, which are relevant to UNAI and its principles:
Afe Babalola University is reputed for its large scale investment in sustainable development programs, especially with focus on agriculture, healthcare and access to justice. The University is home to the ABUAD Farm an expansive farm project that is playing an important role in agricultural development, food security and agri-technology in Nigeria. The University also boasts of the ABUAD Multi System Hospital, one of the best hospitals in the Sub-Sahara Africa which is changing the face of health care delivery in this continent with up-to-date medical and diagnostic equipment. The ABUAD Law Clinic, at the College of Law, performs two main functions. First, it provides practical training for our students through simulated and life cases in their course of study. Secondly, the Clinic provides free legal aid services to poor and indigent members of the community. Similarly, the ABUAD Planetarium provides inestimable opportunities for our academic community to explore space innovation and space technology concepts.
