We are excited to share an extraordinary opportunity for young innovators. Junior Chamber International (JCI) and the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network - Youth  (SDSN Youth) are partnering to offer young people the recognition, tools, training and resources needed to scale their Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)-focused projects.

UNAI is proud to announce the launch of the “Summer of Solutions” a call for applications from young people around the world to create innovative technology-based solutions to global challenges. This is a new initiative launched by the Office of the United Nations Secretary-General's Envoy on Youth, in partnership with the United Nations Technology and Innovation Labs, and the United Nations Development Programme.

In a world of increased interdependence, global governance could include various forms of transnational collaboration, organisation and regulation to coordinate common affairs on the global level. A core mission of the Global Challenges Foundation is to promote ideas on how existing global governance institutions could be improved, and what new institutions are needed to enable adequate mitigation of global catastrophic risks. The Global Challenges Foundation is offering grants for research overviews on global catastrophic risks and the gap in global governance of such risks.

For aspiring human rights lawyers and activists! If you want to take on a case of gender violence or discrimination case under the mentorship of an expert human rights lawyer, this Fellowship is for you! We offer Fellows a stipend of USD$3,000.00 to run a case over a period of 6 months in 2019.

About SAHR:

In 2019, the SDG Academy will award two institutions ‘Awards of Excellence’ in developing MOOCs (Massive open online courses) for Sustainable Development. The courses will be selected among applicants from the wider SDSN’s academic community, with the first place institution provided the chance to host their course on the SDG Academy edX platform.
