The Dag Hammarskjöld Fund for Journalists is currently accepting applications for its 2017 fellowship programme. The fellowships are available to radio, TV, print and web journalists, age 25 to 35, who are native to one of the developing countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America/ the Caribbean, and are actively working for media organizations. The application deadline is 20 March 2017.

The search for Momentum for Change’s 2017 Lighthouse Activities is on! Applications are being accepted until 9 April 2017.

Organized by the United Nations Climate Change Secretariat, Momentum for Change shines a light on innovative, scalable and replicable examples of what people around the world are doing to address climate change, in the hope of inspiring others to act. The winning activities will be recognized and celebrated during a series of special events in November 2017 at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Bonn, Germany (COP 23).

Global Bioethics Global Summer School

Global Bioethics Initiative (GBI) and Pace University College of Health Professors invite students and professionals worldwide to attend their International Bioethics Summer School in NYC from 19 June – 30 June 2017. The program will include a series of lectures and seminars by notable faculty, field trips, film screenings, evening events with guest speakers open to the public and a mini conference prior to the graduation ceremony. Last year, participants were able to attend the One World Observatory, the American Museum of Natural History, and tour the United Nations.
